The Micro Mono series are Microprocessor controlled, with heaps of features. These top of the range Monoblocs offer the highest level of control and stability demanded by the latest digital cameras. The advanced circuitry ensures delivery of consistent colour over an extended power range. Power is controlled digitally in 1/10f-stop increments. Additionally, these steps are accurate to better than 1/40th f/stop so you can be sure that light output is constant, flash after flash. They have built in memory which stores all the user settings when the mains power is off. The microprocessor is constantly checking important inputs, such as capacitor voltage, and gives a visual and audible alarm if anything goes wrong, before any damage is done.

They have a strobe feature, where a preset number of flashes can be dialled in.

A flash delay or timer function is included.

Automatic bracketing, where the unit will automatically do a centre shot then one .5f-stop above and then .5f-stop below. All at the touch of one button. A 5 step bracket can be set as well.(2 steps above and 2 steps below).

The units contains a thermostatically controlled internal cooling fan which automatically kicks in when the temperature rises from extended use. This allows the units to be used under heavy all-day shooting conditions.

A flash failure alarm sounds if the flash is triggered, but does not flash. Invaluable, if you have just shot 200 school kids, 150Km from base, only to find, when the films are processed, that one of the flash units had not fired.

The modeling lights can be swiched to always off, always on, or on when it reaches ready, very handy as a visual indication, that you are ready to go again.
Also they can be proportional, or set by the user to an independant level, such as full on for focusing.

Further evidence of our attention to the photographer's real needs, is the user replaceable flash tube. As an added benefit for the PS600 users, they are supplied, as standard, with 1200W/s Flash tubes.

Accepts all Bowens S type accessories, or with an adaptor, all Elinchrom accessories.

They are available as genuine 600W/s and 1200W/s units.
