This is the PS1000E Monobloc. It is distinguished by its small size, light weight, and low price. It is a particular favourite of school photographers, as they are very simple to use. The units contain a thermostatically controlled cooling fan which automatically kicks in when the temperature rises from extended use. This allows the units to be used under heavy all-day shooting conditions. They have very tightly controlled power, less than 1% variation between shots, perfect for digital photography. Now supplied with a 5f-stop power range. They are supplied with 300W Halogen Modelling lamps. They are available as genuine 500W/s and 1000W/s units.
